Thanks for the praise but I don't know about that...I learn something new everyday.

Just did a second coat...after removal, this time, I did notice a few small uneven areas.
These probably would have melted away given time to level, cure, bond and harden etc.
This time I was "looking" for 'em. Last time I just rubbed the area a little with a MF towel.
For grins, I used the H2O very light mist trick on those spots and they were instantly gone!

In my book this new Megs UWax is a real winner.
Easy to apply, easy to remove & GREAT results!

So for those that have tried both paste and liquid, is the paste more forgiving as far as the streaking ? I have a pearl mica grey, just trying to decide on paste versus liquid. How easy is the paste to remove ? Also has anyone hand applied the paste ? I have a Random Orbital, but it is a bonnet style 2 speed craftsman professional, so I don't know how effective it will be

I just applied the liquid to my Nighthawk Black Pearl Civic Si with no streaking. Granted it wasn't in direct sunlight, but I had no issues. I went over it with a LIGHT spritz of QD anyways.

Besides streaking, I'm LOVING this new combo of UP and UW. Didn't throw in UC, but will be doing that come Spring time too. I used this on a pretty beat up lip kit and it did a hell of a job on it (probably hid a good chunk, but still the shine/reflection is awesome).

Not really a "longevity" update, but an update of sorts. Almost 2 weeks and I finally had the chance to wash my MS3 today. I only had time for a quick coin-op touchless wash. No extra quarters, just the 4:00 they give you. About 2.5 mins with the soap, 1.5 mins with the rinse and a quick 30 second "spot free rinse" to finish her off. I snapped these 2 pics with the iPhone right after the time was done and you can see a clear difference in how the waxes are treating the paint and beading.

Again, the NXT paste on the left, new UW on the right. The spoiler on the bottom just has UW on it.

Sorry for the hugeness of the pics, I'll resize them in a minute.

                Thanks for the update.

That's great beading on both sides but the NXT appears to be more hydrophobic...

How does the Ultimate Wax compare to NXT 2.0 and #21 2.0 when it comes to durability?

Just placed an order. Curious how it does after I do the DA microfiber system first. Looks like a busy weekend ahead.

Does anyone know if UW paste is safe for Ventureshield ppf? I noticed on the packaging for UW paste that it said not for plastic, rubber, or porous surfaces.

If it isn't, then why not? (just curious...)

I was told I should wax the film like the rest of the car. If UW isn't safe for it and it's because it's synthetic, then I'll just have to pick up some good carnauba wax (any recommendations? Gold Class Carnauba Plus?) and use UW on the uncovered parts.

That caution is for your typical textured black plastic and vinyl trim, and even then only because it will dry white in the texture. You won't have any problems using UW, liquid or paste, on any clear bra material.

BTW, I used UW on the painted part of my car yesterday. Looks great.

Yeah, Subaru paint is quite orange peel-y.

                              Hi Zzyzx85,

The images you uploaded were absolutely massive and probably would have taken 10 minutes to load for some users.

Any chance you could follow THIS THREAD and shrink them and then try again?

                              Thanks!
