I did some detailing over the weekend and threw two of the black towels in with my Water Magnets and a few Ultimate Wipes..... all of them now have a gray tint to them! No compromise in performance, but the color change threw me for a second!
Great tip, Mike, thanks a lot. I'm sure I would have mixed them as well.

Forgive me if you described this elsewhere, are the black ones the size, shape and texture of Supremes or the size, shape and texture of the Ultimates or something all new?

why was them prior to use and not just after use?

It's typically a good idea to wash microfiber towels prior to use just to remove any little loose bits that may come about from the manufacturing process. But if you don't normally wash your microfiber towels prior to use that's fine, just make sure to separate out these new black towels or they'll "tint" your other towels.

They are essentially a black Supreme Shine - size, texture, etc.

I always have washed my new towels so to remove any dye. If you ever use a towel on ivory leather you wouldn't want it to stain the leather.

Too late, I now have a tinted Supreme Shine towel and Soft Buff pad...no worries though.

I was in the market for possibly using NXT, but after reading all 24 pages I'll instead be going with UW especially if it adds depth and last longer than NXT.

Mr. Stoops and myself were having a discussion about synthetic sealants and streaking that can now be viewed here:

Admittedly, for the guys on here, including myself, the polishing step is most important to creating a perfect finish. BUT...

The average consumer is likely to view a company's lsp as the most important part of "detailing". Also, the ultimate wax and nxt as well as the ocassional m26 are on the shelves of most auto parts stores.

I'm simply stating that I like Meguiar's other products and would consider being an exclusive Meguiars user, but the streaking polymer sealants is a problem I think Meguiars needs to address.

i think many people who own dark cars would agree. This thread, reviews of NXT 2.0 on other sites sais so.
Sometimes, the sponsors of any particular forum get less "constructive criticism".

I hope this only is seen as a suggestion from someone who would like to see Meguiars come out with a knock-out lsp.

At this time there is none. M21 is quite similar to NXT Tech Wax 2.0 but Ultimate Wax is a new product from the ground up.

Hey Michael, I'm holding off on my bi-annual major detail waiting for the UW and UP... any ideas when it hits the streets??

ADS and Autogeek have both in stock now so they should be on local shelves very soon.... like a matter of days if they aren't there already.
