So we're bringing home a new Fifth wheel on Monday. I was thinking for simplicity I would use Meguiar's Marine Flagship Wash N Wax a couple times a year and then hit the front cap with the Meguiar's Pure Wax. You guys think this will work ok? I'm going for simplicity here, would rather be out using it than waxing it

Simplicity is what we all want, but more importantly we want to protect our investments. After all a car is most of ours 2nd biggest investment. Honostly if ur spending dough on a fith wheel, keep ur maintainance on it so when the time comes to give it a full detail ur not on it for a full week cleaning and removing mold and such.

That's what people don't get is its easier to spend an hour or so a week to wash ur car than the 3 days it takes every few months to catch up. Plus the work is so much easier not having to put in do much elbow grease. I guess I'm just offering more advice then can answer to ur question. But to answer that I just say do some more research on here for ur rv maintainance.

I'm not familiar with RV maintenance but you could use that wash and wax every time you wash. You could even invest in a spray wax to maintain the wax you use on it.

Although I don't have a 5th wheel and my foot print is much smaller, I waxed my Rockwood pop up right after we bought it. It is stored inside in the winter but outside with a cover during the nice moths. I wash it every couple of months or so with the soap I have on hand. Currently that is D111 shampoo plus and will be as that is what I use now. Then I hit it with a quick wax to keep up on it. Water runs off of the fiberglass nicely and is easy to clean.

I don't have any experience in rv but seen a few videos on YouTube about a guy who's a pro detailer doing a rv roof that had so much mild build up on top of it that the work was alot more than a simple wash and wax. It's like naintinaining our wheels. If u clean them well once, use a wax or bdb the next u go to clean them it's little to no effort. And with a rv it's bigger but the amount of time u will save and make cuz of the resale value just by maintaining it with the proper products is ten fold.

Also plz people if u ever cover ur boats, cars, rv, and such don't use plain tarps. Get a specified car cover as it allows it to breath and keep the mold growth away. Thus saving ur paint.

I prob off ur question of what u asked but to answer it the easiest way I can invest in meguiars rv line of care products and u won't look back. I should b a sales rep as much as I push meguiars to people on here and mostly out here. Maybe they will throw me some free products from the detailer line but all in all they are just a superior product that will keep ur big investment shiny and looking good.

Our M56 Marine/RV Pure Wax is a great product, but for long term protection you might want to go with Flagship Premium Marine Wax instead. Flagship is a synthetic and as such it will last longer than M56. Do yourself a favor and pick up either some Flagship Ultimate Spray Wax or D156 Synthetic Express Spray Wax. These are polymer spray waxes that are actually very durable, and as spray waxes they are super fast and easy to apply, which sort of comes in handy on something as big as your new 5th wheel rig!!

I live fulltime in my morothome and Michael is right on. Give it a coat Flagship Premum Marne Wax and just touch it up with D156. Use the 156 on everything including the windows!

If you have a rubber roof, spic n span and water with a semi stiff bristle broom type brush twice a year.

I like using M50 Cleaner Wax. It has good cleaning ability & can eliminate any minor imperfections.

Thanks everyone, I'll invest in the better products and spend a little more time keeping it up.
