NXT in the marine environment

Much has been written about the durability of synthetics over waxes. I have used NXT on my Corvette and love the finish and its durability.

Does Meguiars offer a synthetic protective coating in their marine line? What about NXT in the marine enviroment?

Flagship Premium Marine Wax

Meguiars does have a synthetic in the Marine Line and it is called, "Flagship Premium Marine Wax." The NXT Line has been formed for paint surface only, but maybe they will come out with the NXT Gel Coat line!!!

They do have a pure sealant in the Marine line, it would be similar to #20, But I don't remember the number.

The #55 polymer is the product that is similar to the #20 in the car line.

M55 has been discontinued in the Marine Line, the replacement is M63 Flagship. The Flagship formula is a unique formula to the Marine line and specifically formulated for gel coat finishes.

Thanks Mike. That explains why the #55 has not been as available as it had been in the past.

Was #55 discontinued due to the new VOC regulations? How would the Flagship sealant/wax compare in durability?

I've never used either product. I have usually used #50 in the past and was quite satisfied with it.
