    The plastic cover for the frig and water line to ice maker is always yellowing. What product can bring the white color back and stay white?

    Any chance you could post some pics so we have a better idea of the type of plastic you would be working on?

      I am out of town. Normal kind that is the cover on RV's I am sure.

        Some times you can bring them back with a rubbing compound but they will just yellow again. It's due to the type of plastic and the additives used to prevent discoloring...not all are equal. If you get tired of rubbing them out..get some spray paint like a Rustoleum product and paint them...then forget them.

          Sounds like you know what I am talking about. I don't think I'm the only one with this problem of cleaning and re-cleaning.

              It's a very common problem in the RV industry...I fought it for years on my RV and finally painted it...DONE!

                Like said above, I've seen and heard of lots of people painting them with rustoleum (sp?) with good results.
