  • Don't let polish dry

Hi I am new to forum and have a quick question about the Meguiar's boat Polish. The instructions say to not let dry. Do I apply with orbital polisher and not work into the gel coat and just wipe off? If so, it seems I would go through a lot of micro fiber towels wiping all this product off if wet.

    Thanks for your help.

Are you working with a pure polish, or a cleaner polish? Do you know the part number?

        mquiet,

That is correct. You should apply the polish to a small section (a couple square feet) with your buffer and then wipe off immediately with a quality microfiber towel. If you let the product dry it could become difficult to wipe off.

Just to add a little more clarification, the product will *begin* to dry, but you don't want to work the product or let it sit until *totally* dry.

It will take a little trial and error, but you will find the optimal amount of time to work the product to let it do as much work as possible without drying too much, and possibly dusting or sticking to the paint.
