  • "Ultimate" products on a boat

Good idea or not: Ultimate Detailer and/or Ultimate Quick Wax for touch-up over Flagship Premium Marine Wax on a covered "garage queen" Sea Ray. (Garaged and covered when it's not on the water. I do use it. )

    Hi Tom,

We would suggest using the Marine Flagship Ultimate Detailer. It is a 24 ounce bottle and has been tested and designed for Marine specific surfaces.

If you begin to use automotive product on a gel coat you may run into a few issues with streaking or not working properly because you are working on 2 different kinds of surfaces

      Mike,

Thanks for the information on the detailer. I'll check to see if any of the boat dealers in my area carry it. The Sea Ray is white and I already used the "auto" Ultimate Detailer on it. No streaks. But I'll still pick up some of the "marine stuff". You can never have too many Meguiar's products around, right?
