Need help! Does anyone know if meguiars marine products will bring back the shine to my carbonfiber hood? If yes, which ones?

Re: Weather beaten
Well, if it is not coated with anything, then you just have the soft resin that the piece is made out of.
The Marine Line proucts are very strong, they are meant for dealing with boat/RV gel coats.
What you will want to look at is the basic paint care products. It would be best to start off gentle, with something mild like SwirLX, and then step up from there if needed.
Of course pics could help say for sure how bad it is...2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: Weather beaten
Whoa! That does look bad. You might try claying it and using some Swirl X or Scratch X 2.0 and see if that helps.

Re: Weather beaten
SwirlX may not be strong enough, but it is still where I would start. Then Ultimate Compound if needed.
Once the hood is in good shape, you might want to use a pure polish like Deep Crystal Polish to get a lot of oils into the resin, then choose a wax to put on.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: Weather beaten
Im thinking that it has to have some sort of clear or protectent like a resin on it. If it was dry carbon that would be different but its not which is why I was curious. So I am gonna go with Murr on this and say give the SwirlX or Ultimate compound and yes ALWAYS test it first. Do a spot and see if you like it and take some pics during the process
