I just opened up a new container of Meguiar's #45 Polish and it performs different than the previous one used. The new one cakes on the surface rather quickly and doesn't spread using the PC. I recall having a similar experience with another product in the Marine/RV line and a Meguiar's representative on the phone said it was most likely caused by stale product. Is the same thing happening? Should I call again to have the product replaced? Incidently, I'm using the polish on a gelcoat surface that was previously cleaned with #49 Oxidation Remover. The temperature was about 70 degrees F and out of the sun.
