  • How much to charge

A client of mine is interested in having me detail her 32' fifth wheel. It's just the exterior. How much is a typical rate for RVs? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I think most RV detailers charge by the foot. $20-$25 per foot? Even that seems to be on the low end.

That's a big job. I've never detailed an RV but i know they can be massive. You should try and figure out how long it would take you to.................. wait. What will you be doing, just a wash & wax type of deal or will there be corrective work being done?

Wash, polish and wax, no correction. I will be going to her and it's in pretty good condition. Sorry, no pics.

AIO or multiple steps? I think time will be the biggest factor here, you don't want to be stuck putting in more time than what you charged for.

More than likely an AIO. I think I've decided on $20 per foot. Thanks for all the input.

$15-20 per foot is a good price.
Two of us, experienced RV detailer, did a 27' in about 2 hours (wash, wax-M20 rocks!, tires, glass, maybe that will give you an idea of how much time it'll take you.
So 4 or 5 hours by yourself, $100 and hour isn't to bad
                I wouldn't go lower then $350.
These will help- a step latter, brush and big straw hat
