  • Difference between #49 and #67

After just purchasing 4 gallons of #49... Can someone explain the difference between #49 Oxidation Remover and #67 One Step Compound? We frequently use #49 at work and saw wondering about #67.

Sorry for the late reply, been kind of busy working behind the scenes on the newsletter....

Somewhere on this forum Mike Pennington provided some information on the differences, let me see if I can find it.

Here we go... from this thread,

How much cut? #49 vs #67 vs #91

M91 Power Cut Compound is the most aggressive...It was designed to remove up to 1000 - 1200 grit on gel coat by rotary machine but can also be used by hand.

        Does that help?

That is perfect! Sounds like #67 is not what we want, best to stick with #49 as we have used for sometime now and works quite well. Just thought there might have been a new option. Thanks!
