  • my first boat transformation

    Hi Chaps and Chapesses,
    Greetings from UK.
Having used a few Megs products on cars I thought I would try out marine side for the first time.
Cut back hull and top sides of Sealine F33 using Megs #49 then polished with #45 and finished off with a different make sealant-
very slippery hull and really pleased with results- not bad for a nine year old boat me thinks - also the owner is pleased too- so I get paid.Pics should be here:- http://www.flickr.com/photos/bobkaz/

Glad to hear you were paid... that's a whole lot of boat to buff out!

Hi Quattroman, here is what I charge for compound and polish:

compound and polish hull only - $18.50 ft
compound and polish exterior superstructure only - Express Boats - $19.00 ft
compound and polish superstructure only - bridge boats - $25.00ft

It works out to be good pricing from boats 20ft to 60ft that I do.
