  • Help Needed..

Hi I have a 2001 Seray190.. I want to make it real, real, real, shinny. The boat from what I can say is in good shape. Not oxidized or faded bad. It has verry light scrathchs. I want it to shine like new again. I am not sure what products to use or pads, or even what polisher to get.. I just recived a Simoniz 7" pro 3000 rpm for Christmas, not sure if it will work.. Could some one please advise me. Thanks in advanced...

    Re: Help Needed..

In my expeience a rotary polisher and a wool pad work the best on gelcoat, purchase some Marine line Meguiars products (compound, polish, sealer).

If the boat is white you cannot notice any swirl marks using the wool pad, and as for the scratches you can be more aggressive with the polisher on gel coat than you can on paint.

If you need more specifics let me know.
