  • Armed and ready!

    Now, finally!
My shipment from Auto Detailing Solutions has arrived! It took a while since customs didn't really believe that the package only contained products to a value of $25

I must say that I'm very pleased with Rick and his company, as many others from what I've seen... Great prices (at least for me being overseas)!

I'm very exited to start testing the M80 on my Alpina, I have very light swirling that I think the M80 will do wonders with!

Here are the products lined up (that I got from Rick, there's a shelf of Meg-products in the garage as well)

    /Marcus

Nah, of course not... However, due to customs and taxes the package was declared to contain products up to only $25

WOW! this looks good... Can I ask how much you had to pay in euro's? I bought some #80 and #83 in the Netherlands and had to pay 35 € for one bottle !! Quite expensive if you compare it with the US... anyways, could you send some techwax to Helsinki, I cannot wait to do some detailing over here

          Enjoy the products

I think the value was around $470, shipping fees included.. The prices in sweden are very comparable to those in the netherlands... My bottle of #83 that I have at home was at 30 Euros...

              - Nah, just place an order with Rick instead, I'm gonna hold on to my bottles real tight!

For prices, take a look at Auto Detailing Solutions !

Erik, You can buy Techwax (liquid) here in Helsinki. HL group has a few stores in Helsinki, that sell Meguiars products. Call them first and ask if they have what you need on the shelf. Good luck

Marcus and Mark, thanks alot for your information. I am defenitly going to get myself some meguiar's here in Helsinki. We have some dutch poeple in the US now who are going to try to get us some pro-line meguiar's. If that doesn't work out, we will order from auto detailing solutions!

Marcus, can you give an indication how long it took for the package to arrive?

                  Thanks guys!

Erik, the delivery time will be dependent on your customs most of all.. There are several options of course, sending by express by air, parcel post by air or by ground (well, by boat actually)..

I chose to use the parcel thingy by air and the estimated delivery time will be between 4 to 10 days, I am not sure if they count weekends as days or not however....

To ship via boat will take between 4 to 10 WEEKS!

For me it took... (gotta count) 11 days, all in all.. (with two weekends in between)

You can read more about shipping on USPS website

Thanks Marcus. I have ordered from many companies in the US and the fastest shipping was from Bettercarcare. Only 5 days by USPS, faster than the companies that use UPS. And it's cheaper too. I might try auto detailing solutions next time, just to compare and becouse they have the professional line there too. Oh and I get that free bag and sticker too, very very nice
