  • Detailed three vettes today!

    Well, I may have mislead you a bit! HAHA lol. I was looking at three vette diecast models and noticed they weren't looking their best.
    Prodcuts:
    First used some final inspection to rid any dust.
    Then applied #7 show car glaze
    followed with some NXT wax.

    Here is a pic of what the paint condition was before hand:

              I had seriouse thought about applying some sort of dressing with a Q-tip, but realized there was no need to on account of how shinny the rubber was.

                Many times have i though about detailing my 1:18 model cars but then thought otherwise. Although if winters bad i may have to resort to model cars!

                I have about 30 to keep me busy.

                  I really like the Detail. Ive got 45 1/18th scale Muscle cars to detail over the winter.Ive even got diecast cars in the garage too.Its a sick hobby.Glad Im not alone.

                    It gets worse, guess where I got those vettes from?............. From buying Chevrolet cologne. Every bottle comes with a nice case and model vette! quality diecast as well!

                      Just to show that I am not totally insane, this is where the idea all started. I get California Car Cover catalogs becasue I bought a cover for my truck from them, and noticed this a while back:
