  • DISO - Before and After

You can look at my thread here to see where the dealer used a buffer on my brand new car.

    Before:

Everyone's post was a big help, as well as the instructions for applying ScratchX.

This is after 4 applications of ScratchX + elbow grease on the entire side panels and 1 coat of NXT. I plan to do a 2nd coat tomorrow.

Note: The circles in a couple pics is cause by a spec of dust on my camera lense.

I was pleasantly surprised with the results after parking in the sun and taking these pics!

    After

I'm very pleased with NXT! The reflection is nothing short of awesome.

I think they do it all the time. Yesterday we were at a Ford dealership and they had a 2006 Fusion, black, on the lot. It was a fantastic day out sunshine. This brand new car had DISO bigtime!!!!!!! There was some glaze or something still on it in places. So probably as soon as it the the lot they did it. Knuckleheads.

Thanks guys, it does look much better and I'm glad I didn't take it back and let them 'fix' it like they wanted me to. It was alot of hard work, but the end result was worth it. Totally impressed with how awesome the NXT looks, well worth the price!

They didn't send it out like that. They had it covered up with something which after washing about 2 times revealed the mess they'd made.

I learned my lesson, I'll never let another dealer detail any vehicle of mine!

End result looks very good! I hope that my new car doesn't come out with DISO left and right.
