This is what I did last saturday!
2004 BMW 325xi.
Wash
clayed the WHOLE CAR!
#80 w/8006 with DA on the whole car
#83 w/8006 on rotary for scratches followed by #80
2 coats NXT wax with 9006 on DA
Hot Shine on tires(doesn't look it though)
The car was in decent shape but the owner slid into a snow bank last winter and scratched up the passenger side of the car pretty good. It even popped the bottom skirt off in a few spots!! I popped the skirt back on and hit the scratches with #83 on my rotary (after clay) and followed up with #80 on the DA over the whole car. Here's the scratches:
The last one is the after. The light was going away fast and this was the best pic I could get. There were a few left over but they were all the way through the clear and black so I left them at that.
The hood had some marks in it like buffer marks but I couldn't really tell exactly. I hit the whole thing with #80 on my DA and it shined up very well.
