  • Golf V Sportline 100% Meguiarized (many pics)

    Hi Meguiar's fans,

    I am Robin from Holland and active at the Dutch Meguiars forum. I have a Volkswagen Golf V Sportline and want to share my Meguiars experience with you all. Although he is new, he has a lot of birddroppings, bugs and tar damage. But that is history from now on

    Meguiars is not that famous in Holland, but that will change soon. I'm very impressed with this product. My car is now better protected and is shining as never before.

            I always hate playing the role of Photo Police, and we really appreciate you're posting pictures and sharing your process, but your photos are simply to large for anyone to see without horizontally scrolling and the anytime you have to scroll horizontally, it means you can never see the entire car at one time on the monitor because parts of it are always scrolling off the screen. It kind of defeats the purpose of sharing the photo.

            Here's some links that show you how to work with pictures inside the vbulletin environment.

              Here I've taken one of the photos' above and in a few minutes cropped out some of the pavement and the building to put the focus on the car and then resized to to 600 pixels wide.

              Now anyone can see the entire car.

              Again I hate playing photo police, but it just doesn't do anyone any good when the photos are so large. Plus anyone using a dial-up modem will spend a lot of time waiting for the images to download.

              600 pixes wide is best, 700 pixels wide at the most.

              Thanks!

              p.s.

              I used the Easy Thumbnails in one of the above how-to articles to resize the photo which is free to download.

                    Thanks for the kind replies. I've resized the pics and submit 2 interior pics.

                    Dial up? ...I thought everyone in the US has superfast internetconnection and big 22inch screens

                    @Car Crazy!
                    I didn't wax the license plate, but cleaned it with the Triple Duty Brush. What an amazing brush!! It never looked that bright because of the bugs etc.

                      I can't wait to see the new Golf. Here in the States we only have the Jetta thus far. I don't really care for it, but the new Golf looks tight. Yours is really nice-good detail!
