You can use #81 with a DA, but I'd drop the speed dial down to 2 1/2, or 3.

Meguiar's pure polishes don't like a lot of friction from my experiences with them......That is why I prefer applying them by hand.

#82 works great with the DA.

#82/#81 is a great combo for finish work, but you can go 83/82/81, or 80/82/81, etc.

Try experimenting with different combos on the hood, and see what looks the best to you.

great job... looks much glossier and can see a quite decent reflection off it... maybe a few more pass w/ 80 would do it.... the way u put the pads on the ground looks risky though

Dont worry, that was only for a minute for the pic. I store everything in a different place inside

Well here it is! The products came in so I tried it out right away.
          Before

As you can see, the engine bay wasn't all that dirty to begin with so I didn't use a degreaser but rather APC at 4:1 with an old car wash brush to get it clean. After I rinsed with slow flowing water, I sprayed some Hyper Dressing at 2:1 and that was it! I was amazed at how easy it is.
