  • SVT Focus Wax Results

I am fairly new to Meguiar's products, and I am quite pleased. I recently did a little waxing job on my car and here are a few pictures of the results. I started with a base coat of Meguiar's Cleaner Wax and finished it off with a coat of Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax. The car is a 2003 Ford SVT Focus. Enjoy!

Here is a reflection of the landscape in the paint:

          Hi BCESVT1,

          Welcome to Meguiar's Online!

Your car looks great as do your results with Meguiar's products

One tip for posting pictures to online forums, try to limit the size to a maximum of 700 pixels or nobody can see the entire photo. Large pictures force people to Horizontal Scroll. When you have to horizontal scroll to see a picture, this means part of the picture is disappearing off the screed as you scroll, thus the viewer can never really see the entire picture.

Here's your car at three different widths, notice how you can see the entire car without having to horizontal scroll.

          500 Pixels

          600 Pixels

          700 Pixels

And here are some tutorials on how to crop and resize your photos so people don't have to horizontal scroll.

              Hi BCESVT1,

Nice Nice Nice Job. I am now wishing I bought BLACK NOW (of course mine is not an SVT but it is a Focus ). I was afraid I would have a hard time keeping up with 2 dark colored cars so I oppted for the Arizona Tan on the Focus. Man, you gotta love those Ford Finishes.

I am not a Ford person myself, but I've had the chance to detail a few in the last year or so, and I think that Ford paint is some of the best looking stuff out there.

I did a gold Lincoln, a black E. B. Explorer, and a red Focus. All of which looked outstanding after a full detail.

BTW, welcome to the forum BCESVT1!

A 56k nightmare, but it was worth the wait.........Great looking car you have there!

Thank you for the compliments guys! I didn't do the tires because I'm not really a fan of applying shine to the tires. It turns into a dust/dirt magnet no matter what you use.

Well, Not all of us have this problem.

I would prefer images to be quite large.

                    My resolution is 1920 x 1200 on Monitor #1 and 1280 x 1024 on Monitor #2.

I decided to scale down a screenshot because I know if I post a 1920 x 1200 screenshot there is just about nobody that can display it without a lot of scrolling.

                    Her is what I see:
