Girl Got it Going-Car Show

Hi everyone,

My name is Marcie. My first time posting. I am a true Meguiar's junkie. Mike Phillips, you might remember my car from a detail class you held for the Zone 8 Porsche Club. You even asked me if I would be interested in the 911 for an extreme makeover class. (It wasn't looking pretty)

I wanted to share with you some pic's from my recent showing of my 1982 911 SC Porsche at the Concours d'Elegance (fancy way of saying car show).

I literally worked 6 weekends 10-12 hrs per day. (Were talking Q-Tip white glove detailing)

The results:

• * 1st Place Un-restored Class (Must be 75% original)
  * Best of show for all Un-restored Porsche's

This is what I used:

• * Washed w/ Gold Class Car Wash
  * Clayed
  * ScratchX
  * #7-Show Car Glaze
  * #26-Yellow Wax

Still saw Cobb Webs ......... not happy.


Next weekend:

• * #83- Dual Action Cleaner Polish
  * #20-Polymer Sealant
  * #26-Yellow Wax

Looked Awesome

But for my Final Car Show Glow: A few weeks later,

• * Washed w/ Gold Class Car Wash
  * #21-Synthetic Sealant (because I scored some)
  * NXT Liquid Wax

Other Meg Products Used for detailing:

• * Mirror Glaze all metal Polish
  * Gold Class Endurance High Gloss (Tires)
  * Gold Class Trim Detailer
  * #40-Vinyl Rubber Cleaner/ Conditioner
  * Professional Leather Cleaner/Conditioner
  * PlastX
  * Triple Duty Detail Brush (love love love this brush)
  * Dual Action Polisher
  * Last Touch Spray Detailer

I apologize if this post is long, I just wanted to share my excitement and HARD work with everyone.

Yes that's my best friend Cathe. She's the tall one. She loved all the Mequire products she received for her b-day. The Mequire's banner she gave me at the car show.......how cool was that!
