    2000,

Thanks for the information. I thought they might have had the speed set too high, or the surface might have been to cold to apply the wax. What settings do you use to apply the NXT at?

When I apply the MPPP, I set the speed at 1, then remove the MPPP at 4.

Just for grins, here is a picture of my old Mach one as I punched it at 30 MPH in second gear. It was a factory 428 CJ car with a 4 speed. Thought this might brighten your day, I know it does mine every time I look at it.

    Thanks again,
    Mike

I haven't seen those discussions Twister, but I haven't had any problems with a W-9006 pad gumming up with NXT so far, and I use the 4 setting on my PC.

I think as a finishing pad ages, it might gum up some...When I use MPPP on an older FP, it tends to look a little gummy on the pad surface, but the product spreads out very well.

Then again, I think my bottle of MPPP is starting to break down some...Maybe that is why the pad looks a little gummy?

There used to be a product by Meguiars called "Gold Class Clear Coat Prep & Swirl Reducer" (It has been discontinued), that would gum up on the paint surface pretty bad with my PC...On top of that, it was very hard to get off too, but that was the only product that really gummed up on me.
