  • Detail reflections, night shots!!!

I didn't have any before shots because the stang was not really too dirty. Steps included:
    *Wash car
*Meg. clay bar and detailer spray
    *Scratch X
    *DC #2
    *NXTx2

Here's a reflection shot of NXT wax on the hood of my car in the garage.

    A couple off the roof.

Few more, one off the hood and two of the trees from my neighbors yard.

    The stang.

Very, very nice....reflections are very clear....did you ScratchX the whole car or just spots ?...did you do this all by hand or some by hand some by machine ?...how easy was the DC#2 to apply and remove as I've never used that but I have black as well and think it makes your paint just pop.....the black stang looks awesome!

I ScratchX the whole car by hand.Everything was done by hand and I was tired! I just did not do the ground effects and front bumper. My arms and back got a good work out. DC#2 was easy to apply with an applicator then buff off with a 100% terry cloth. I love DC#2 as you apply on a section of the car, you can notice how deep and shiny the black comes out compared to another unpolish section.

2hotford , I showed that first pic to my gf and she thought it was the floor, but I had to explain that the garage door opener was reflecting off the hood

Thanks for the compliments! OH yeah, the night shots...I'll post those up soon.

Thanks! I hope to get some projects later to detail. I might invest in a porter cable to cut down on time. Gotta learn someday.
