  • 1997 S-10 with #83, #80, NXT

I finally got a digital camera to post some of the results I've gotten with my PC, etc. I take very little credit for this work; credit goes to the MOL and the amazing info.

    Here's my 134,xxx mile '97 S-10

    my product list:
    Meguiars PC
    #83 (2-4 laps)
    #80
NXT (2 laps applied with PC, removed with SS microfiber)
    Insane shine tire spray
    Gold class trim detailer
    PlastX
    Extra all-purpose cleaner
    NXT glass cleaner
    Scratch X

and my favorite picture that I like to trick people with:

That was a shot off the driver side door. My wife flipped out when she realized what it was!

    Thanks again, MOL and Meguiars.

Here are some more of my S-10:

This is the roof, which now only has a few RIDS and chips that are probably going to have to stay.

This is showing off the Insane Shine and the richness of the color, though notice the slightly darker extended cab area from being re-painted (my brother-in-law bought it new and it was broken into and the paint around the window got hacked up)

any suggestions on how to use the PC on the curved areas around the wheels and across the middle of the door? Or do I just use scratch X?

I also forgot to mention that I used Quik Clay on the truck.

First off, that is an awesome job you did! You have every right to be proud of your work and accomplishment!

Secondly, I love tricking people with the same concept, except the tire gives it away a bit

Yours is a MUCH better reflection picture!!!
