  • MBZ SL 500 Detail

My friend cafemoc and I have been doing some Saturday details for some of our friends at work, so I thought I would share this one with everyone.

Here is cafemoc, with his ride, in the morning

Here is a shot of the SL just after it's NXT car wash.

Here are a few before shots.

The car is kept in the garage when not in use, so the surface was virtually clean from above surface contaminents. We did a test spot with #80 and another test with #83. We both agreed that #83 had the best resuts. NXT Tech Wax for the beautiful shine.

    I just love BLACK cars!!!

Looks great! Nothing shines like a black car. Only problem is, nothing shows defects like a black car too. Love the SL though. Nice work.

Wow the car looks great after the make over, with all the swirl removed .

Did you get the job done with a PC or a rotary ? What pad did you use with #83 and did you go over the car again with #80 (with what pad) after #83 ?

                  Hi Erik,
We did the test on a section of the hood, but I didn't take a photo of it. I will put that in my memory bank for our next detail.

                  Hi Gen2,
We both used our G-100's and our yellow W-8006 Soft Buff® Foam Polishing Pads. There was no hazing with the #83, so we just went to the Tech wax and used the ultimate bonnet for that beautiful shine.
