Those are some great pictures and a fine array of Meguiar's products there to thank...

Just for the record... what all are we looking at from a product standpoint?

    I see (in no order):

    #9 Swirl Mark Remover
    NXT Tech Wax
    #40 Vinyl/Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner
    Gold Class Shampoo (gallon sized)
    Body Shop Overy Spray Clay
    #26 Hi-Tech Carnauba
    PlastX
    #34 Final Inspection

What else do we see there?

That's a great looking finish 2000! Did you use a PC?

I love the 80's series products, but I haven't tried Speed Glaze yet.

        thanks guys,
        heres my list of products
        #36 wheel cleaner.
        body shop overspray clay.
gold class car shampoo (remember to rinse and repeat )
#80 speed glaze (applied with rotery rusty bumper)
        nxt wax (applied with pc)
        plastix
        #38 trim dressing
#39 (I use this for streering wheel and pedals)
        #40 (interior)
        coors light in that order!
same product line in both pics, just trying to get a refelctive shot but the weather wouldn't cooperate. it started to rain right after I took those.
thanks for not laughing at the kia behind it.......I tell my mom when she visits to park in front of the nieghbors just kidding!

heres a side note, I know allot of use don't really care for the shape of the nxt bottle, however it was very windy when I was trying to take these pics, all the flat bottles kept getting blown over except the nxt.....maybe they designed areodynamics into the bottle.

          Hi 2000,
I'm new to claying...I just tried the improved Quik Clay System from Meguiars and liked it very much.

Is the Body Shop clay a little harder to use? I mean, does it glide over the surface with ease, or is it real sticky?

            hi rusty bumper,
I can't compare the two as I have only used the body shop line, but I have NO problems with it sticking at all and that is using gold class qd, final inspection and final detail all with no problem.......except if you go past the spray and than you have no lube and I'm sure thats the case with any brand or make of clay. good luck! I can't imange doing this without clay now that I've been using it for a while (about a year) I believe the body shop clay is larger, but thats about all I can compare on.

              Thanks 2000,
I can buy the clay you use locally, so I might give it a try before long.

                Hey,

I normally use the Body Shop Overspray Clay as I prefer the packaging of having two decent sized bars in a plastic jar. I do not need the lube that comes with the Quik Clay as I normally buy the Meguiar's #34 Final Inspection by the gallon. However, for most, the Quik Clay is a great option!!

                  Hi Tim,

Do you prefer FI instead of FD for a clay lube?...I am divided about which to buy right now.

                    Hey Rusty,

I prefer the #34 Final Inspection for claying lube. I have tried using the Final Detail but still prefer the #34!!

                      Thanks Tim,

I have heard that FD is a little too slick for clay lube...I have some FI, so I will give it a try.
