    Gonna try that utricky1!!!
Poly-fil is just about standard practice now with most sub-boxes and it does make a noticeable difference.!!

      Rob,

I was even more impressed when I saw the pics on CarDomain. Very nice and clean install on your system. Now, if ya don't have it already, go get your hands on the Sheffield Labs "Drive" cd or one fo the Focal Demonstration cd's and give it a listen. Most people use it to tweak their stereo settings and fine tune the soundstage of their overall system. S.L.A.P uses the "Drive" cd for judging. Good to see that there are other Infinity fans like you and Abel out there as well I'll never go back to another brand of speaker.

Did you use any other prep steps before the glaze and wax? Is the paint swirl free?

        You're car looks awesome!
        I want one.

          Hey Abel,
Your system looks awesome. I am planning to install the same 4-channel amp like yours in the next couple weeks. I am going to re-do the false floor to accomodate two amps and two power capacitors. I can't wait. I will post some pics when I get it all done.

          Hey Lew,
Thanks alot. I am really pleased how it all turned out. I wasn't sure since this was my first attempt at doing something like that. I have just added some Red Neon and L.E.D. lighting in the trunk and it looks awesome. Thanks for the tip on the CD. I will pick it up the next time I go to the stereo shop.

          Hey Carl,
Yes my paints finish is swirl free. It is possible with a little work. I always use Meguiar's clay bar and Quik detailer before I apply any wax. This will remove any impurities in the paint and give it a smooth as glass look and feel. One thing I do to eliminate swirl marks is to dry my car after washing in straight lines. If you dry in straight lines you don't create those swirls. They come from you when drying or otherwise touching your cars paint. If all else fails break out the Scratch X and use after the claybar and before waxing. Hope that helps.

I bet you can see over a hundred feet deep in my cars paint now!

Great! I enjoy keeping my finish swirl free also. It truly is all in the washing technique...a two-bucket method, 100% sheepskin or cotton chenille wash mitts, quality, gentle car soap, and microfiber waffle weave drying towels. It's such a shame when I see swirled vehicles...

The current wax you're using looks great! I think that Pinnacle Souveran would just look stunning on that color as well..but hey, find something you like and use it often!

Thanks wish I had a custom install like yours though. One of my 12d VQ subs blew on me last week
