  • 05 Deville detail (lots of pics)

Well the g-parents picked up a new 05 caddy Deville. When I first saw it the chrome bling rims stood out. Upon further inspection this is what I found.

You guessed it, cob web/swirl city. My g-parents mentioned it was a black car but I didn't have a chance to inspect it before they purchased. I did tell my g-parents to have the dealership skip the free wash. I'm sure these wash marks were from washes during the pollen season. Oh well it's their car now and a great opportunity to show them what I can do.

    After #80

    After AIO and #21

    #80
    AIO (hand app)
    #21 (hand app)
    S-100 (hand app)
Hyper Dressing X2 for the tires. I spray on let dwell, respray, let dwell, then wipe off remaining.

#80 proved itself today. I tried several products but had the best luck with #80 and a polish pad.

I really like how AIO makes the paint look and feel. I used this on the chrome rims too.

#21 was the icing on the cake.

This was the first time I used the S-100 and its the ice cream on the cake!

What a great looking ride. For Christmas I think we're gonna get the windows tinted for them. Its funny a car like that with 70+ folks styling in it. They're proud as peacocks. Enjoy!

Nice Job!! I love #80. It does a great job at removing those swrils! Aio is another great product i love. I usually apply it by hand. I am almost out!! Is #20 like the professional line version of nxt? Again great job!

Great job! When I first saw the cobwebs, I thought you would need to use #83 to get them out. The #80 worked great! Weren't you concerned that the AIO would remove the polishing oils from the #80? AIO is a great product, it can remove very stubborn water spots. Looks like it did not affect the #80 much though.

Thanks for the compliment. By the way, glad to have you on this board. Your work is always top notch.

One could say #21 is like the pro version of NXT. There are some other differences too. Like rotary app. Here's a good read. New Product Announcement!

        Thanks again!

That's what I was hoping for. I wanted to be doubly darn sure the swirls/webs were gone rather than hidden with oils. From my limited experience with AIO it seems to compliment rather than take away from #80 quite well. I had the same thought/concern about removing the polishing oils too.

Thanks. I like the #21 too. I don't know if I can use that much of it before it expires LOL! #21 looks especially nice in the sun on as it's very reflective.

I would like to know what it is about AIO that makes waterspots come right out. There is some special chemical reaction that is taking place. Must be a German secret.

Great work on that deville, you really tamed those swirls. How did you apply the S100, panel by panel, or did you do the whole car first? I seem to have smearing problems with it, at least on my truck.

How's it going. Do you like the #21 stuff? I applied/removed the s-100 panel by panel. I did have the smearing problems you mentioned even going panel by panel. When I pulled the car in the sun I could see the problem areas and touched them up with a MF. I did notice smudges/streaks on the hood and I reapplied the product to remove. This was my test run with the product. I'll do further tests.

#21 is great, I love that stuff. Thanks again btw. I see that you already found the trick of simply reapplying S100 to take care of the smearing problem, it's easy enough to take care of, but makes for some extra work. I like the warmth that is provides and glad to see that it looks nice and works well with #21.
