  • 2011 Buick Regal - This weekends beautification!

Here is a 2011 Buick Regal brought to me. Dirty dirty dirty car. After a wash with D110, followed my Bug and tar remover then a speedy prep towel (I love this towel)

    Wash - D110
Bug and Tar Remover - Turtle Wax
Speedy Prep Towel - Medium Grade - SM Arnold
Wheel Cleaner - Sonax Full Effect
Tire Cleaner - Tuf Shine Tire Cleaner
    Chrome - Mothers Chrome Cleaner
Tire Dressing - Meguiar's Endurance Gel
Wheel Wells and Interior - Meguiar's APC +
Interior Dash and plastic surfaces - Meguiar's Natural Shine Dressing
Leather - Meguiar's Leather Cleaner followed by Meg's Gold Glass Cleaner/Conditioner
    Glass - Meg's Perfect Clarity

    Polisher - Meguiar's new MT300
New - Yellow Thin Foam Disc
New - Black Thin Foam Disc
    Polished with M205
    Topped with NXT Wax

The damage was readily apparent. OMG I say, as there were so many holograms in this paint over the entire car it was ridiculous. I did not catch all the damage in the pictures, but some of it.

You can see the trunk lid swirl and scratches. the second trunk lid photo didn't have was on it yet.

I know this is from a different angle, sorry. This one is finished with the wax applied.

Drivers door with holograms in it on the middle, bottom, and left side. Far right already polished. This doesn't really do it justice as to how bad it was.

Here is a 50/50 shot of the drivers side rear door. You can tell the difference without tape. I put the sun in the middle of the line. It was a much bluer blue.

Hood was like this all over as well. Again this was EVERYWHERE, lol

    Rim after cleaner working

Here are before and afters of my work.

The MT300 is a nice DA. Like the pads and it took less effort to polish for sure. Had to get the feel of the tool and the pads at first, but didn't take long. I like the 5" so much better than the 7" soft buff. Don't get me wrong the 7" SB 2.0 are good and work, but the smaller the better with much better concentration on the work area, therefore yielding quicker results. So a thumbs up from me!

the girl who picked up her car was amazed at what it looked like. Se kept saying oh my god, over and over. Didn't look like the same care, lol. I love seeing customers reactions and hearing them. So was very happy.

Turned out great. Definitely has a deeper blue color when done. It's amazing that people don't take better care of their cars. Even after seeing the amazing job u did, do u think this guy will take better care of it?

Re: 2011 Buick Regal - This weekends beautification!

Thank you to all. I take pride in making things shiny. This individual is actually a friend I've known since grade school days. She was more of my brother's friend/group/crowd if you will, lol back in the day. She's a very nice person. She said she had the car detailed by a dealer or someone claiming they were a detailer and they had done a horrible job. So since the purchase of her car 4 yrs ago and after that job, she's not trusted anyone to touch her car since then. Until she found out I do detailing and bought it to me. I did give her some recommendations to keep it clean. NO dealer washes period, no automatic touch car washes and of course no self washing bay brushes for starters.

The excitement when she came to pick it up was priceless. I had put it back in my garage to keep the hot sun off it so she didn't bake when she got in it. She just kept saying oh my god over and over again, lol. Said it doesn't even look like the same car. That's always a great feeling when customers react in such a positive manner. That it why the guy who's Subaru I did a couple weekends said booked 3 more details this year with him alone for his other vehicles.

            Good stuff.

Wow, great job there. That blue really looks clean now. I imagine the inside needed cleaning too, lol.

                    Wow, awesome work

Cars like that generally only get polished by guys like you when they are being sold. Was that the case for this one?

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Yes, it's great when a client picks up their car and is completely stunned by the transformation!!

No she isn't selling it. It has NEVER been detailed, including never been polished.
