  • 2013 BMW 5 Series Paint Correction

Customer brought his 5 series in for some paint correction. It was filled with holograms, swirls and quite a bit of compound splatter. Although we had great weather I was battling the flu and had no other choice but to finish up the job. Hope you guys enjoy it.

    Hello,
Looks impressive - what did you use for compound/MF and polishing. Could you please share. Thanks

Geez, those holograms were horrible! Looks like our microfiber discs just ate 'em up though!!

          Great work!

The sun doesn't lie! What was your LSP?

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

It was bad. The customer previously had another 5 series that was repainted. That particular car was in BAD SHAPE!!!! Sanding marks everywhere, overspray, areas that were missed after sanding. So he traded the car in and got this 5 series. I think he said it was in the body shop for some "minor work". The car is still far from perfect but the majority of the light scratches and some deeper ones were removed. D300 is still a lifesaver!

It's funny how you can spot things after photos or videos. I ended up giving the car another wipe down due to spotting some smears. Black is just a pain as you all know. I used Menzerna Powerlock.
