Black z06 full makeover!!!

    Black z06 full makeover!!!

    Had a ustomer come t me wanting some help. I has been sitting for 4 years. There was a grey haze that looked to be under the clear so I had my work cut out for me. I first washed it and cleaned the motor. Then it sat for a few more days due to weather. Then it was clayed and the inside was cleaned thoroughly. After this, I had to wetsand some spots where the car was scraped by something white and also get out minor scratches in the doors and front clip. Then it was time for some good ole Meguiars M105, backed with some M205. After this was done and the paint looked almost perfect, I sealed it with some high endurance 365 day sealer.

    I must say that I am really pleased with how this black looks. I am always taken back when I do a black car.

                  Sorry for the late response. I used the yellow pad with the 105 and 205. Then I used the black finishing pad for the 365. All using the port cable. A little goes a long way. So, no need for a lot. This bottle will last a very long time.

                    Yes and I love it! Other than you must be patient while taking it off lol. Once taken off, I usually go over the entire car again with a clean towel.

                          I think he means the new Meguiar's Paint Protect 365 sealant.
