Detailed 2007 Honda Pilot

I finally got around to detailing my daily driver last weekend and wow. A white, 2007 Honda Pilot with about 90,000 miles on it. It wasn't in bad shape by any means, but I had not been keeping it in top shape since I have been busy and doing other cars latley that have paid money . This was the first time I have used the DA on it and I have never seen the paint look this WET. It looks awesome. All the light swirls are now gone. I just admire it when I see it. Pictures just don't do it justice. It looks so good now it the hail damage I have is more noticeable. Have to say, not sure how I have got by without a DA, and used the Nano Skin Autoscrubber for the first time (thanks Brett) and it was super easy and the paint has never been so smooth. Did it in half the time as clay. Still had to clay some hard to get to areas, but was nice. Enjoy

Decontamination-Nano Skin Autoscrubber with D155 Last Touch
UP with Orange LC flat pad
UW with Blue LC flat pad
UW by hand 24 hours later
Tires-D163 Tire and Trim Gel
All black plastics-Megs Black Restore
Windows-Perfect Clarity Glass Cleaner

Interior
Vacuum
Wipe down all interior with D101 APC including leather seats
Windows-Perfect Clarity Glass Cleaner
Cleaned carpets-D101 APC with carpet brush

I do like it. I have reserved it for use on my cars only because of the cost. lol. Using the silicone free I have on everyone's ride. I like that is doesn't sling, has been on all week and still looks as good as when I put it on. I washed the Venza Sunday and it had been on there for two weeks and been through several days of rain. Wasn't shiny any more but was still nice and deep black. I didn't reapply any after the wash this time. I am trying to find the right applicator, I think that will help. I bought this foam applicator on a handle, but it seems to just really soak up the product. So, experimenting with that.

I would recommend either these two. The brush works very well. You can find them at pep boys as well.

Thanks, I have seen the brush ones before and was curious how they would work. Just thought they might be messy. I am going to be around a Pep Boys next weekend so I will stop by and check it out. Thanks!

That white ooks nice crisp after.. I especially like that last photo with the reflection off the hood. Good job. You'll thank yourself for cleaning up your daily driver.
Now get out there and spray some D161 on your wheel wells

Lol, already done. I forgot to do it before the pictures for some reason. That is kind of something I am new to doing.

Nice job buddy. White paint looks amazing after a thorough cleansing and polish. Did you do the engine as well? Any pics?

I did not do the engine this time because I did it like in June maybe, so it wasn't too bad. I will get it again after the winter. I usually only hit the engine once a year on my own cars. Thanks for the comments.

nice work. didnt know d101 could work so great on leather. shouldnt u consider applying leather conditioner after cleaning?
