Hi Everyone,
This is my first write up. I hope the phone pics are adequate
.
I got a Megs g110v2 DA a few weeks ago and I've been itching to try it out. This was my first time using a DA so I was very excited.
Here is how a summary of my procedure:
1. Wash with Gold Class Wash
2. Dry with Meg Water Magnet with a bit of Mother's Detailer as lubrication and to get rid of any spots from the wash.
3. IronX on the sides and wheels. I don't think I needed it on the rest of the car.
4. Clayed with Mother's clay kit
5. Megs White Wax (1 pass)
6. Megs Gold Class Wax (1 pass) (on the wheels too)
7. Megs PlastX on the headlights and taillights
Here are some pictures:
Ironx at work on the door and wheels.

Before any wax was applied.

About to begin the waxing.

Final result.

I am pretty happy with the results. I contemplated using Ultimate Compound + Polish, but I decided to give the white wax a try after reading several reviews on this forum. I was able to remove some fine swirls on my car with it and it left a pretty shiny finish. I decided to add a layer of gold class to give it that extra depth and I think it turned out pretty well.
Thanks everyone for reading. Any feedback is welcome!
