1996 Buick Regal

On christmas eve I decided to give my mom's car a little love. It's a 96 Regal that just hit 100K miles. I cleaned it up back around august/september time frame using colorx and M21. It has been maintained in between washes with a combination of ultimate quick detailer and ultimate quik wax and was in good shape. This time around I decided to give it a coat of M26 since I have not really used it after a wash. A really nice wax. Easy to apply and remove. It helps that it was in the mid 70's here in southern california.

I also cleaned up the seats and the interior the day before. I don't know how long it's been since the seats were last cleaned. I was out of the cleaner that comes in the leather sealer system so I opted for meguiar's leather & vinyl cleaner. I followed that up with the sealer from the leather sealer system, which is a very good system. The dash and the surrounding plastic received APC+ followed by natural shine. I did not take photos of those areas as they were not to dirty. The seats were the main focus.

Here are the photos of the seats. The leather & vinyl cleaner worked really well. I definitely recommend it.

Back seat. You can see the tape line.

Another the back seat. Left and center cleaned and right is dirty.


Front drivers seat. I used a tooth brush to get into the cracks. These seats have seen better days and will need to be recovered some day.

Front seats all cleaned up and sealed. Not the best pics but they will have to do as I was losing day light.
