How are you guys? This is my first time to post in this forum. I am so glad to get a lot of information about detailing from this forum. But the detailing industry in china is not as hot as in the united states or any other developed countries (I even need to buy the Meguiars products from Hong Kong coz there are so many counterfeits of them in Chinese market... I am just a car owner, by the way). Also, Chinese car owners tend not to wash cars quite often because the environment is not so good that the car gets so dirty a few days after car washing so that they think it is wasted of money and time to wash often (I usually do it once a week by myself). Most of them wash in car washing stores (the manpower is cheaper and people do not wash quite often).
The reason I get so crazy about auto detailing is because I am a new car owner and I saw the difference of the appearance of the Chinese cars and Hong Kong cars. I think not having a very good sense of detailing and not having time to do it is one of the main reason of why the Chinese cars tend to look very dirty (the fact is that some even brandy and expensive cars like benz and bmw just look like trash coz their whole body are really really dusty and full of mud. Instead, everytime I have been in Hong Kong, or watching the photos in this website, I just noticed that every car is freaking shiny, and glossy! I just want to figure out the problem (is it that because the paint of Chinese cars is not so good compared to other countries? for my white Audi A4L, although it is german brand, it is manufactured and assembly in China except for the most important part like engines and gear box), so sometime I just thought that the Chinese cars are not as shiny and glossy compared to others countries whatever how hard I autodetail it.
I am currently having Meguiar's clay bar, uqd, uqw, ultimate wax. I am very happy to have the oppoturnity to chat with you guys!
