Today I finally got around to detailing my car with my new 7336. I had some pretty bad cobwebs and holograms but all is much better now. The paint has a lot of blue metal flakes in it but it is actually a pretty deep black in person. Its a factory Honda paint. Here are the steps:

    #83
    #80
    #7
    NXT liquid
    Gold Class Trim Detailer

Let me know what you think. Any feedback, positive or negative, is appreciated. I would also like to thank Mike and everyone else for the help I have already recieved. Now i'm just waiting for the rain on monday.

The reason your pics are so small is because you are clicking on the thumbnail to get the location. Next time left click on the thumbnail first. After you see the isolated photo, right click on it to copy the location. I hope this helps. The car looks good. I just got a pc as well, and I'm going to, hopefully, try it out soon.

Very nice work, nice reflection shots and your car has that wet look now.

Did you tape it off first?

no i actually didnt. i will next time, but this time the trim needed quite a bit of cleaning anyway so i didnt think it was worth the effort. i used the gold class trim detailer to get the residue off and it worked just fine. The car still looks great even after 4 days of rain.

Amazing. How much did the #7 do for you?

I've tried 83 followed with 80 on my red Accord, and it's still bloody swirly!

                  Amazing results.

                    Hi soonercivic,

I think your results look great! The clear coat is clear, you can see the metallic in the paint easily and best of all the cobweb-effect has been removed.

Now just maintain these results with good quality products and good techniques when it comes to washing and future maintenance.

The only problem is that you didn't leave yourself any room for improvement!

i had some streaks with the #7 too. What i did was use a mf towel to remove the majority and then spread the remaining oils with another towel. i think it looked better after the #7 that it does now.
