  • 1968 charger (in progress)

I have never been one to use a machine to buff, polish, and wax a car, but after reading about the DA power system. I went out and spend roughly 100 bucks on some pads and the system. After toying with it on a section on the charger I noticed how better it looked vs by hand on the rubbing compound used. I pleasantly shocked and then added the polish and wax on that section and WOW it popped like I have never seen my car. I never thought a machine or part machine was better than hand. Also the new metal polish also incredible stuff I used it on 45 year old chrome on the charger and that brought the shine like no other. I should of taken pics of how dirty the chrome was and nasty it was, but the meguiars stuff shined like I have never seen it. I know on the instructions it saids not to use the heavy cut on chrome pieces, but I figured I had nothing to lose since it was nasty looking anyways, but it worked like a charm the I put the polish on and it shined!!!! Thats my short review on the meguiars stuff...AWESOME STUFF!!!!

    Products used:
Meguiars HEAVY, medium, and polish cuts metals
    chrome hot rims
DA power system with various pads for each product
    meguiars clay bar kit
    ultimate rubbing
    ulitmate polish
    ulimtate wax
and topped off with P21S 100% carnuba wax.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

thx guys....im just still shocked at the DA power system LOVE IT!!!! Along with the metal plolishes I was praising my co worker about it since he has a 72 mustang and his car has NEVER had rubbing compound it or polish and everytime he applied wax it didnt shine like mine car did. Told him we need to make a detailing day on his car.....He tried the meguiars clay bar and noticed a difference his first time he didnt know they lasted longer after one use he threw it away.

going on 3 weeks now of the ultimate setup as I now call it and she still shines. I had dirt on there, but I think the dirt flew off during my drive and was able to snap a pic. As you can see the reflections are still there of the background..

This is with NXT 2.0 after clay, U.C., U.P. (couple of them since I had to wait for the order of NXT to come in) and I think the NXT shines better than the U.W. does it gives more of a mirror.
I would say I made my 20ft car into a 10ft car with the wax lol....

I use polish alot under the hood and dont wax since its so hard to remove due to all the crevaces and what not.
