  • 1998 Jeep Cherokee needed some loving!

Ok after a 3 day, 19 hour, 3 car event detail, I'm pooped lol Details included 1997 Interior Cleaning (will post at a later time), a 2006 Toyota Tacoma full in and out detail (customer is trading into a dealer), and this 1998 Jeep Cherokee owned by my pastor from church. Ran me about 9 hours for everything.

He could have used a paint correction for the swirls and such, but he just wanted it cleaned not perfect, so I did just that.

    Exterior:

    Gold Glass Soap
    Nanoskin Autscrub pad
M205 on yellow soft buff correction pad on Meg's G110v2
Last Touch after to remove any residue left after polish
Ultimate Polish on a black soft buff finishing pad on the G110v2
    Perfect Clarity Glass Cleaner
APC+ on wheels wells and rims
Black Majic Bleche White wheel cleaner on wheels followed by Endurance Gel

    Interior:

Simple Green carpet cleaner (pre-clean all cloth)
Bissell Little Green carpet shampoo cleaner
    APC+ all trim and dash
Meg's Natural Shine on all trim and dash parts

Correction on Post #1. It's Ultimate Liquid Wax after the M205 Polish. Not Ultimate Polish! Sorry about that!

Great work! You certainly added some depth and shine to that paint.

Your pastor let his interior get that bad? Whatever happened to "cleanliness is next to godliness" lol

Did you try anything to blacken those faded wheel arches?

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

He just bought the vehicle 3 days ago and called me right after to schedule the detail. He went to Louisiana and drove it home. Also I'm going to work on the arches at a later date. He and I are going to do it together. He's a great man.

              Nice job!
Why didn't you dress the rubber? Even if your going to do some work on it later the dressing will replenish the oils that it desperately needs.

It's actually hard plastic. The owner didn't want them done. I did do one with ultimate black and it gave it a dark grey appearance with just one application. But again he said not to worry about them now. I'll probably see him this Friday to do it.

Nice turnaround on your Pastor's Jeep for what really was a relatively small effort. There is so much more pop and color depth to the paint now - nicely done!

Good job! I guess detailing the roof was a hard task...

Thanks Michael and all for the positive comments. Yes the roof is always fun when they're with racks like that.

Nice turnaround!! It looked tired and old, now it looks a lot better, way better than before, I particularly like the improvement you did with the interior. I'm sure the Jeep runs smoother and better now. For some reason, clean, shiny cars seem to run better than dirty unloved cars..

Nice work!!!! That Jeep looks so much better now it definitely needed some love.

I hate those roof racks too, or really any roof racks for that matter.
