  • A couple Class C RVs & a Dutchmen Camper

Hey all, Its been a busy summer & I have not had much time to post. Hope all is well.

I recently had the pleasure of working on about 10-12 RVs at Leisure Lake RV Resort in Shorewood IL. We had a variety of motor homes, travel trailers, & campers. I also got connected with some of the local RV dealers in the area and have been doing some work around the area as well.

I'' start off with a couple Class C motorhomes.

    2013 Four Winds Class C.

This was less than six months old and was mainly a protection detail.

    Lightly pressure washed.
Washed with Camco RV Wash (including roof)
Sealed with Meguiars M20 Polymer Sealant x2 via G110 & LC green pad
Cab & wheels sealed with Meguiars Ultimate Wax.
Windshield recieved a Rain X treatment.
Tires dressed with Meguiars Water Based Dressing.
    Interior vacummed & dusted.

    ============================================

    2003 Coachmen Class C.

This Class C was a bit chalky & oxidized. Its not a painted finish, which are even harder to get back. It was basically pretty old & dirty before and needed a good brightening up. This one took about 11hrs.

    Lightly pressure washed.
Roof washed with Dawn Power Clean.
Sides washed with Camco RV wash.
Polished with Meguiars Flagship Cleaner Wax via G110 & LC green pad.
    Cab waxed with Ultimate Wax.
Tires dressed with Water Based Dressing.
    RainX on the windshield.

    ==================================================

    2007 Dutchmen Camper.

This one was at the RV campground, Theres about 350 on site. I have done about ten here so far. I put a lawn sign up and business cards at the office. They even gave me a map as well.

The camper was actually in pretty decent shape. It needed a much good washing & a good wax job to condition the fiberglass. Some of these campers are not flat and are made similar to the siding on a house. So the only way to wax them is by hand. A polisher just skips over everything. Its actually not too bad if you go one by one and apply decent pressure.

    Lightly pressure washed.
    Washed with Camco RV Wash.
Waxed by hand with Meguiars Marine M50 Cleaner Wax & a terry cloth applicator.
Tires dressed with Water Based Dressing.

I will upload some more of the camper jobs to another thread.

    Great work.

Wow, that's some serious real estate you had to cover... especially that one you waxed by hand!

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Looking good! Great to hear you've been busy this summer Nick.

I've helped the neighbor with his driveway long trailer.

This is from their website, but it looks just like this one. We had to wax it by hand as well.
2014 Cadillac ATS4 Performance in White Diamond Tricoat. It's loaded with everything but frickin' lasers!

        Thanks Paul.

I have yet to do a Jay Flight camper.

I have seen some 20 plus year campers that there would be little to no way of bringing back by hand. I did a camper everyday for five days one week in July and my hands felt like they were about to fall off lol.
