  • Charlotte's Webbed Denali, Polished, Wax, Sold 2 hours later.

This was a great customer who knew I was the right detailer for this job due to my website and reviews.
He was selling it and wanted to fix the paint before he sold it.
This truck has gone through a few winters with snow sludge stuck to it and then hand washed at the local Wash-n-Scratch, that's what I call Gas Station Car Washes and it's so true in this case.

I was at the beach and water run off was a concern so I power washed the rims and engine without violating the law.

I didn't take alot of pics, I guess I wasn't in the mood but you'll get the picture from the few pics I took.

All the beautiful spider webs ( I'm surprised I didn't see the word "Amazing", I crack myself up)

This is the perfect picture of Swirlies ( thanks for that John, CC )

    **** SCRATCHES!!!!

    After 12 passes

The sun was way low so no sun shots but just look at that reflection!!!

That's better! 2 hours before the first buy will show up

Love this shot, dam I'm good, jk, I'm great!

The next day my customer called and said the first person who showed up thew 30,000 dollars at him and speed away in a burn out!
Just goes to show you if you put a little money into your car before you sell it you'll get top dollar for it.

Re: Charlotte's Webbed Denali, Polished, Wax, Sold 2 hours later.

Total on the job was 10 hrs with 30 min lunch. $260 was the price.
He was paying for a polish job and light interior cleaning. The interior was very clean. This customer loves his cars.
All my love went into the paint, the interior took under an hour to vacuum and wipe down.
So about 7.5 hours on the paint itself.

In my opinion your price is very good especially since it is a large vehicle,,,Again the job looks great!!

Re: Charlotte's Webbed Denali, Polished, Wax, Sold 2 hours later.

I like at least $350 for these.
But with a "for sale" detail they usually don't want to spend alot so I'll give them a discount.
Also this one's interior was not dirty at all. One coke spill to clean up, wipe down everything and a good vacuum is all it needed.
I adjust my work to what the customer wants and it this case it was to remove Charlotte's webs. So that's what I consentrated on.
I got a little tip too so that's always nice.
He was a really nice guy (he laughed at all of my jokes!)
So it was a pleasure to work on his car.

One of the great things about this forum is that we can can post our work and share it with our customers.
As a Professional it helps me share my work with my customers.
I do this all the time.
Customers don't always sit and watch me work on there vehicles. So they don't know exactly what I did to there vehicle and what they paid for.
So I make post so they can see the steps I do and how there POS's transform into a beautiful work of art.

I shared this post with my customer and this is the email I just got from him.
Great job Mario! Looks better than the day I bought it new. You have great enthusiasm & pride in what you do & it shows.
                            Thanks again

That is cool, this was actually part of the reason why I wanted to start doing some write-ups of my work. I'm redoing my website and figured it'd be cool to have some links to these write-ups on the homepage. I hadn't thought of emailing the customers those links though, great idea!

I've got a couple that I took a bunch of pictures from this week that I need to do the whole write up and post them on here this weekend.
