    SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Here is the beginning of photos galore. This is a 2002 17' Bass Pro Shop Crappie 175 Pro I'm doing for a client. This is my FIRST boat detail. Now this boat is neglected like crazy. Come to me spider webs, interior trashed, exterior aluminum oxidized and dull and more....

As talking with the customer, they are wanting to sell the boat, so it's not a full hardcore show style boat detail. Now the polishing is hardcore, meaning it's hard and hurts my core, lol.

Mario from Please Wash Me Detailing turned me onto wool pads for the project.

I turned to Mike Philips at Autogeek/Marine 31 to guide to me a pad to fit my old Wen 7" Rotary. This thing is an oldie but still works. Oh and I've never used a rotary either or wool pads. Soo first time boat, first time alumnuim polishing, first time wool pad and first time rotary use.
    We found such pad.

Understand also I'm not polishing everything like crazy, mostly removing the top oxidation.

Now I haven't used everything in the list below yet, since boat isn't even close to being done. Just listing what I will use.

    Products used:

Lake Country Mfg 8.5 inch 4 Ply 100% Twisted Wool Compounding Pad
Marine 31 Finish Cut Metal Restoring Polish
    Meguiar's APC+
    Bissell Shampooer with cleaner
    Meguiar's Tire Gel
Meguiar's Ultimate Polish on the motor housing with hand applicator
Meguiar's NXT on the Motor Housing with hand applicator

Here is just a few pictures of the boat itself and a couple photos of some metal polishing

Oh yea forgot to tell you abute that!
                DOH!

On the B17 we wore Paint Suits I even had a face shield until I broke it.
We we're black from head to toe!
We had a dedicated pad washer and he was literally "caked" black.

Here's pic and it was around 90 and on the tarmac, black hot tarmac

Interior Pictures - This carpet was stained pretty severely in spots, not to mentioned mold. Not everything came out, but you can see the difference.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Hi Michael. I spent 9 hours on it Friday, then another 5 on it Saturday morning. So a total of 14 hours give or take. Heck take 10 minutes or more out for pictures alone, lol.
