Wow that is amazing. Great job. I bet he's having second thoughts on trading her in now lol.

Re: Detailed: 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser - Black Cherry Pearl (Trashed Off-Road Revival)
Marc, sorry to bring up an old thread again. Your work is amazing! I have recently bought a black FJ Cruiser myself, and would like to ask you for some tip in fixing swirls on the paint. I'm a complete noob but very eager to learn. When prepping the truck for polish, what should I tape off? And can I polish the silver door handles and side mirrors too? I have a roof rack also. Was it difficult to get around it when polishing? Thanks for any advice and input.

Thanks for sharing this to the guy. I hope this helps him and makes his car look brand new! Please let us know what he says or how his detail turns out.

Thanks.
Ha! I wish it was like that. I don't usually get referrals and I don't know why. I thought word of mouth was the best way of advertising but sadly, nothing has come up.

Nice job . Now your phone will be ringing off the hook once this person brags to his coworker and other people who comment on this vehicle

Thanks guys!
I think it cut the paint faster when I used 101 with D300.

This makeover is incredible. I haven't used 101 yet, but after seeing this I just might have to. Did you mix it 50/50 with D300 and if so, how much better do you think this worked than if you would have simply used D300 straight?

You should have split the $2,000 with the owner, it's only fair, hahaha... Or charged the owner the same amount of money.. The thorough exterior detail made all that possible..

Re: Detailed: 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser - Black Cherry Pearl (Trashed Off-Road Revival)
UPDATE: The owner got $2,000 more for his trade in. He said he could have probably gotten more if he pushed it but he was already getting $3,000 less on the car he was purchasing relative to all the cars of that same make, model, year and mileage around the area.
Overall, we were both happy with the value added on the car.
