About a month and a half ago, I performed a full detail on my car. In case you haven't seen that thread yet, please check this out:
Detailed - 2009 Honda Civic Si - Rallye Red

The car got dusty after driving it for about 2 weeks. I performed a rinseless wash using the Meguiar's RFEW. Since the car was just sitting in the garage, I decided to further polish the paint with the hopes of making the paint pop more. I picked Ultimate Polish because I want a polish that has very little abrasive in it but more polishig oils. I totally forgot about using Menzerna SF4500.

In a span of multiple days, I polished the paint. Then I applied Menzerna Powerlock as my sealant. After a day, I topped it off with AGHD.

I'm sorry but I really don't have any pics of the process because the car has already been detailed. I just took a bunch of photos afterwards. Here they are...

      It looks beautiful!

Good work Marc. So did the UP give you the extra pop you were looking for?

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

        Thanks so much, Davey!!

I'm not really sure if I got the extra pop. I think it did but it could also be my mind playing games on me hahaha! If it did, it's probably marginal. What do you think?

It's hard to tell from the pics and because the car already looked so good after the last time you detailed it.

...But yes, I think it looks marginally better.

Criticisms? Well, nice work, no doubt... Poor choice of color though..

Kidding aside, absolutely briliiant! It's as red as red can get, seems to have a certain glow to it. I'm not sure if it's deep or bright, but it is flawless and really shiny...

A freshly polished car always shows.
The paint looks better this time around. Not that it was bad last time.
The reflections just look crisper and deeper. That or the location changes just show it better.

Is M205 more abrasive than UP?
I have to polish my car for a Vegas car show at the end of May. I don't need any correction just polish. Does that mean I should go UP? Or something more like #7?
The 81/M205 combo has given the best results so far.
Should I maybe even try UP/81 combo?

I don't know the chemistry, abrasive level, oil level...in any of this stuff.
I just kinda blindly combo or take suggestions until I find something I like. But maybe some combinations are useless and just mind tricks.

PS: your styling on the SI is top notch. I really like the direction you took the car.

Thanks for the compliments and feedback, Chris!!! Much appreciated man! I need more low though!!

UP is less abrasive and has more polishing oils than M205 AFAIK.

If you don't need any correction, I don't think you can go wrong with either UP, #7 or the M205/M81 mix. If I were you, I would go use the M205/M81 mix and just don't apply as much pressure. Or try the UP/M81 or even UP/#7 combo. Let us know how it works out.

You are on springs right? Just go with some basic coilovers nothing fancy. Some of the best coilovers I have used are the cheap ones. But I think your wheel/tire/ride height combo is what sets your car apart.
If you slam it too much, it will become just another SI.

I should just put all of them on the pad #7/M205/M81/UP and call it done.
Most likely I'll shoot for M81/UP combo. If slight correction is needed I'll move to M81/M205.

I wanted to finish like you, powerlock and AGHD.
But because I now own M21 is that similar enough to powerlock where I could switch to M21/AGHD combo?

Not to steal this thread further, but when using my new foam cannon this weekend I noticed that the only areas of my car that beaded after the wash were the ones that had a powelock/AGHD finish process on them. I try to use as many combos on my car as I can to see how each reacts. This is by far the most durable combo I have seen yet.

Looks great Marc! The lip on the front really looks good with the red. Do you have any engine modes yet? A red wrinkle valve cover would look killer. Si's have K20 right?

I have honda factory performance suspension - it includes sport shocks/springs. Yeah I don't want to tuck tire. I just want 1 finger gap all around.

ROFL!!! That's hilarious!!! Let us know how that combo works! Hahaha!

I haven't used M21 yet but I think it should be similar to NXT 2.0. I think Powerlock gets more durability than NXT2.0. Both products are awesome but I just prefer PL.

You know it's funny you mentioned that. There are a lot of times where my beading will decrease dramatically after the first wash. I don't know why but I'm following the shampoo's dilution directions. But I'm happy to hear that PL/AGHD withstands strong wash solutions. I think people don't give enough credit to AGHD. I love this stuff because it's so durable for a carnauba paste wax. It withstands multiple washes. Yes it's a PITA to apply but I think it's worth it.

Thanks a lot, Scott! I have 2 front lips installed. I like the combination of both.

Yes I do have mild engine mods. I have a K&N typhoon intake system, GReddy EVO2 catback exhaust and Hondata Flashpro. I'd like to do that red wrinkle valve cover but it seems too much work hahahaha! I don't want to mess with the engine if I don't have to. The engine space is so tight on these cars.. Yeah it's a k20. I love these screaming motors!

                        Did you have a Si?

Them are good clean mods. Defiantly don't want to loose reliability. No I don't have an SI I wish lol. I have a 95 Accord.
