Last weekend I traded my 98 Corvette for an 05 Corvette and the previous owner must have gone through quite a few automatic car washes as the finish definitely needed my help! I didn't want to spend a crazy amount of time on it, I set aside a Monday morning to work on it, and decided to use what has worked for me in the pass for quick jobs, and that is Scratch X 2.0. I know that most people probably wouldn't use it like I do, but I find that when I use it with a random orbit buffer and a white pad, it does a great job of removing imperfections quickly, and buffs off so super easily as well!
Here is how the paint looked before I started working on it:

And after just one pass with Scratch X 2.0 (using my 1st gen UDM, speed set to 5, and a white LC pad):

With just one pass I was already impressed with how much it had done, but I went over the car one more time before moving onto my LSP (Zaino Z5 in this case) The entire job from start to finish only took me 2.5 hours, and I probably could have done it even quicker but I was chatting with a neighbor for some of the time too
Here is the final result:

I'm probably going to do more correction in the future as I'm never one to leave it alone (I probably spent 40 hours working on the black paint of my previous Corvette, however most of that is simply because black shows every single flaw so easily) but I'm going to try something different the next time around (maybe Meguiar's #205?)
