  • Barrett Jackson GT500 Eleanor Concourse

This 1968 Shelby GT500 Eleanor was sold at Barrett Jackson Car Auction in Scottsdale, AZ on January 18, 2013. The owner/builder of the car wanted perfection. The list of work he wanted done to the car by us is extensive. We sanded out all orange peel from every painted surface including the hood and trunk (both the top side and underside), door jambs, trunk jambs, engine bay, and the rest of the exterior of the vehicle. Followed by compounding to remove all sanding marks, we then compounded and polished this beautiful one of a kind twin supercharged 427 small block out to perfection with a total of 9 steps. This is by far the most elaborate detail we have ever performed.

A full video of the build and detail can be found below.

Some of the products we used on this car:
    Meguiars M105
    Meguiars M205
    Meguiars WWHC7 Heavy Cutting Pad
    Meguiars WWLC7 Light Cutting Pad
Various cutting and fine polishing foam pads

    Enjoy!

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Thanks davey! Lots of hard work not only on our end but on the builders' as well. Everything about this car was custom. No expense spared. They wanted perfection and they got it!

Hola from Gilbert! That is one sweet ride...i can't believe it went for ONLY 120k lol..its worth more than that in my opinion. A friend of mine out here in Phx saw that car in Cali a few months back, Jimmy Lucci was doing some work on it, looks like it was totally redone from when he saw it...great work.

Definitely not the same car! I saw the car get built before my eyes. It was built right here in scottsdale.
