first time with machine & its rotary

yup this is my first time touch a machine,i dont know why i was leaning to rotary more than D/A, i picked up Metabo PE 12-175 rotary. German made & lighter than Makita.-washed & dry-Mild clay bar-M83 with cutting pad @1500 RPM-Ultimate polish with polishing pad @1000 RPM-Ultimate wax left for 30 min, removed by auto glym microfiber.there some areas couldn't remove all swirls like the hood,its dull and need more aggressive compund and some areas was perfect.I am really happy with the result. i need more time & practice.Guys give the rotary a try, don't be afraid from burning paint, burning the paint need effort.Pics:The bonnet looks dullAfter clay quart of the bonnetThe Metabo is ready, actually its Mini rotaryhere is the swirlsafter correctionthere still swirls on some areas ,i need more time & practice i think i will step to M105.

Very nice work.


Most people actually start with a dual action polisher and later move up to a more powerful machine.

Definitely rotary buffers work much faster and more effectively breaking compounds/ polishes but forced rotation D/A's & DA Microfiber Correction System close the gap quickly.

No, Meguiar's DA Microfiber Correction System can only be used with dual action polishers (including those with forced rotation, like Flex 3401 and Makita BO 6040).Lake Country and Optimum both have microfiber pads for rotary buffers.
