Hi all,
I detailed someone's Jeep that had been badly neglected, I worked on it for 10 hours this past Sunday and ran out of time, wish I had taken some pics of the interior but never thought of it and it took me about 3 hours to get it looking good again.
Washed the Jeep with Gold Class
Clayed exterior, wheels and glass (this was a brand new piece of clay before I started and it was filthy when I was done, had to toss it)
Wanted to use a paint cleaner like MPPP, but didn't think I would have time, so I used 83 on the top surfaces with a PC and a polishing pad, then switched to 80 and did the entire vehicle with a PC and a polishing pad.
I then gave it one coat of NXT before it got dark, wish I had time for two as it needed it.
The hood still had etchings that I wasn't able to remove with 83 and the PC, but since this is an older vehicle and this person is getting ready to move to Reno, in the hot sun, I didn't want to use a rotary and take down what is probably already a thin layer of CC as it is.
Here are my pics, I wasn't exactly finished and it was starting to get dark. I also only noticed after looking at the pics on my computer that I had a big old finger print on the lens of the Camera, so they aren't exactly clear, little blurry in the middle right side of the pics...
