Woke up this morning and decided to polish my girlfriends white car. Im still learning to do this by hand but i think it came out pretty good.

-GC wash
-Mothers clay bar (i would not recommend it)
-Meguiars polish (the red bottle)
-NxT Gen 2.0 wax.
-Lots of buffing with MF towels

These steps seem to be working great so far. Im getting better at learning how to apply the products as well.

Although i know they serve two different purposes, i much prefer working with the wax over the polish because:

-I can spread it over the whole car before i have to wipe it off. This satisfies my OCD
-It spreads further with less product, meanwhile the polish dries quickly & becomes hard to spread.

I haven't tried the ultimate polish yet, maybe it is better... ill try it out as soon as this red bottle runs out

Are you using the Deep Crystal Polish, or the Polishing Compound?
