  • Quick detail on our 2012 Fusion.

This is my Wife's car, we bought it near the end of April. With summer quickly approaching, I wanted to get some protection on the paint.

-Wheels/tires/wheel wells cleaned with Meguiar's Hot Rims All Wheel & Tire Cleaner (very impressed) and various brushes.
-Wash- Meguiar's Deep Crystal via foam gun. Dried with Water Magnet.
-Glass cleaned with Stoner's Invisible Glass.
-Tires dressed with Meguiar's Hot Shine.
-Paint/door jambs protected with NXT 2.0.
-Black trim dressed with Meguiar's Ultimate Protectant.
-Interior panels/dash/console cleaned with Meguiar's Quick Interior Detailer.

No before pictures as the car is kept pretty clean.

One of my neighbors just got a new white Fusion, too. Funny thing..... it doesn't look anywhere near as good as yours does. Yours is gleaming, and that's awesome when you get white to look that way - nice work!

      Looking great!
Always love it when white looks this good!
How did you apply the tire dressing, I have hot shine (gel), and my tires looks almost like yours....I use a foam paint brush to apply then wipe the excess off with a retired MF cloth

Thank you for all of the compliments! White is pretty tough to work on, as it's hard to see if there is any wax still on the paint.

I use the liquid spray. I use these Wizards foam pads to apply the dressing. They were on sale at my local NAPA for a couple bucks.

I will be doing a full detail on my in-laws 2003 Corvette within the next couple of weeks. Can't decide if I want to use M26 or NXT 2.0....or both.
