  • Montego, Avalanche, Escalade, S60

    2005 Mercury Montego. 100k miles.

    Full detail, but only managed to get after shots of the exterior.

    Pressure washed.
    Foamed/washed with Hyper-Wash.
    Tires/wells cleaned with Greased Lightening 4:1.
    Wheels cleaned with Wheel Brightener.
    Clayed with Meguiars white clay & ONR.
    Tar removed with Tarminator.
    LSP was D301 Finishing Wax by hand.
    Tires dressed with Bass Pro Shops Vinyl Protectant.
    Glass cleaned with Glass Cleaner Concentrate 10:1.

    ===================================

    2012 Cadillac Escalade. Brand new.

    Horrible working conditions. Hard well water, full sun, no shade, & a lady who wanted the truck washed no matter what. I told her she should schedule for when shes working at home and not at her business.

    Pressure washed.
    Washed with 3D Pink Soap.
    Tires dressed with 3D Ultra Protectant Spray.
    Spray waxed with Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax.
    Vacummed.

    ===============================================

    2009 Chevy Avalanche.

    Serviced this truck over the winter, the owner wanted it cleaned up again.

    Same process as the Montego, with the exception of Opti-Seal as the LSP & the carpets & seats shampooed with 3D Carpet Shampoo.

    ========================================

    2007 Volvo S60. 100k miles.

    This car belongs to a new client. Full detail.

    Sam process as the above Montego & Avalanche. Except I used the new HD Speed as an AIO sealant.

    Everything looks great.

    I notice you always use 3D Carpet Shampoo. How would you rate it for smell it leaves behind and its cleaning abilities.

    Does it leave a noticable scent behind, and maybe remove previous seat odors? I'm not too concerned with stain removal I guess as my truck does not have stains, nor will it haha. But I am looking for a carpet shampoo to just freshen everything back up.

      3D Carpet Shampoo has a lemon/citrus scent. Cleans very good and when used at an appropriate dilution level is quite effective at cleaning carpet, and leaves no residue behind.

      I use it with water in a bucket as opposed to in a spray bottle.

      I would go ahead and give this product a try.

        Nick that's the first time I've seen that product mentioned anywhere!

        All vehicles look great especially the Volvo.

                Thank you so much Paul.

                It was on sale so I figured, why not give it a try. Its a nice creamy spray, pretty good product actually.

                I used it today on a black swirled out Mercedes Benz, good correction for an AIO polish. I like the product a lot.
